friends help£º
Hi--my name is Pam and I have a friend whos a C-4 quad. Shes now in the hospital with a UTI and blood clots in her legs. Hopefully, shell be home today.
Im learning a lot in helping and caring for her, but sometimes its overwhelming. There are several things I need help with and maybe all of you can give me that help.

Please help£º
have friend who is C5/6 complete and is able to propel their own wheelchair. The question they want to ask is this - is it feasible for a C5/6 compelte quad to only use a self propel wheelchair. My mate manages very well without an electric one. HOwver, he is being pressured by his OT to purchase an electric one.
Your views would be appreciated.

i have a friend (aged 37) who being in the wheelchair since he had car accident in which he was hurt in spinal cord. now he cannot stand and feel no hope for rehabilitated.his family worry about him,do not know how to help him,any advices, thanks a lot.

Reply£ºFirstly i feel sorry knowing your friend's stroy.But i don't think it is no hope to recovery. And i don't know what part of the spinal cord was hurt, so as to do some exercises and reccept the right drug treatment.
